The length of your stay in detox will vary based on your individual needs. During your stay with us, you’ll be monitored regularly to ensure your safety and well-being. Our staff will check on you several times every hour, and will also be monitoring your vital signs and keeping track of your progress.
To make sure you’re comfortable, we’ll consider providing other medications that you may need and ensure that you’re eating well and taking care of yourself. All medications will be safely stored and only given to you under the supervision of our staff. We’ll also keep track of all the medications you receive and make sure that everything is in compliance with state regulations.
After the detox process is complete, you’ll be on a path towards a healthier and happier future. You won’t be taking any mind-altering substances while in our program, and we’ll provide you with all the support you need to get on the right track. We believe in treating the whole person – mind, body, and spirit – and we’re here to help you achieve long-term recovery.
Incidental Medical Services
At our addiction treatment center, we offer Incidental Medical Services (IMS) to support you during the detox process and throughout your journey to long-term recovery. Our focus is on providing services that will help you move forward in your recovery, rather than general primary medical care.
Our IMS services are provided in compliance with community standards, and are limited to services that can safely be performed at our licensed facility. Our goal is to provide you with the support you need to overcome addiction and achieve lasting recovery. If you need additional medical care, we will refer you to a licensed clinic or health facility.
IMS provides six service categories:
- Gathering medical histories
- Overseeing patient-self-administered medications
- Monitoring the client’s health status to determine whether their health warrants transfer to receive urgent or emergent care
- Testing associated with detoxification from alcohol or drugs
- Providing alcoholism or drug abuse recovery or treatment services
- Treating substance abuse disorders
